Bengaluru: Over 50 per cent of retail/consumer packaged goods (CPG) global capability centres (GCCs) in India have been established in the last eight years, noted an ANSR report. India will see over 25 additional retail/CPG GCCs established in the next 2-3 years, with Bengaluru continuing to be the preferred destination, hosting over 42 percent of these centres, the report indicated.

Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train gains momentum: Over 35,000 MT rails procured, track installation underway
The National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) has announced that more than 35,000 metric tons (MT) of rails and four sets of specialized construction machinery have been obtained for the ambitious Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project. Currently, the welding of rails is underway to build 200-metre-long panels which have been carried over on a viaduct near Anand and Surat in Gujarat.
